Not to rain on your parade, but I think the car is borderline ugly. At first I liked it and then as I started to see more angles I decided
that I dont really like it anymore. To me it just isnt "retro" enough to pull off what was hyped. The same goes for the Challenger.
Like every new car.. the pre production pictures and concept show cars are always better then the production model...

i love the thing. not only is it powerful but yet its affordable too. not many 300hp v6's made these days.
and i reverse that id say a lot of concept and pre productions of this car looked horrible. after seeing the pics from the one at the autoshow in black. i think they look mean. not to mention with "staggered" tires too. maybe some 275/40/17's for the front and some. 315/35/17, or 18 in the rear. either way looking at 275/ 315 combo more than likely. they start at 422hp for the top model. and will have a catback system available as gm accesories, and headers, and an intake as well. ours will already have the short shifter installed.
you like the looks of a g6, some dont. to me it looks like a grand prix/bonneville and thats how i see it. not knocking it, just different taste.
That picture says it all. They will be everywhere, and played out before 2009 ends. By late 2010 they will be so played out and so many people will have them GM will need rebates to move the stagnant stock.

I was behind a red one on Mound the other day between Metro and 18 mile and I realized I do not like this car in red at all, would probably dig the silver, a deep metallic blue, dark charcoal or maybe black though.
Im really not a fan of these haven't been a fan since i saw the first concepts. Even all the times ive seen the concepts in person i really dont like it.

I agree with the majority. I don't like them. Bumble bee looked awesome, production model.... not so awesome. Between taking 35 years to actually get it made and turning them ugly I really have no interest in them anymore. And there's nothing rare about a 300 hp V6, most manufactures have a model with a 6 cylinder around the 300 mark.
And the black one from the auto show was a concept car, not a regular Camaro in black.
i would have to see one in person to really tell if i like it or not. I wasnt a huge fan of the challenger until i saw a murdered out one and thought it was badass. The charger is a different story though, that one looks hella stupid!

Nope i didn't like the looks of my car at all from the minute I drove it off the lot... I had to put a couple thousand into it to make it look like a nice car
I don't hate the car, just not my taste enough to justify the cost of the car. To me a car needs to be just as aesthetically appealing as it is appealing for the power aspect, if I am buying it new.

Burnout style would be more fun. Take some beat car, jump a ramp, and watch some explosions!
But, for the car itself, I can dig it. I wouldn't mind having one eventually as a weekend type car.
