Well lots have changed since I've made a real post here. Moved out to Lima, Ohio for college at UNOH and unfortunately had to leave the Monte Carlo and the Trans Am in my father's care at home. Before I left the Monte did get out of paint and looks beautiful. So I've been out here about two weeks and yesterday I hear one of my best friends back home got in an accident and died.. RIP... so I'm already going back home for a little.
On the bright side though I decided I wanted to drive home instead of fly so I went on Craigslist and found this beauty.
1995 Nissan 240SX SE with the KA24DE and a 5-spd for $1000 bone stock =) Something to lighten the mood a little, yay a new project car =)

Haha I'm actually living in the dorms on campus lol, I'll pm u my number sometime and if you come into town give me a call =)
Sweet.. just found out the 240 has the same lug pattern as the Cavaliers.... Who wants to sell me a set of rims cheap ? =)
You could take the cheapies off my cav and try to destroy them, lol. That's about all they are good for.
Also that engine bay could use some LS1 love.

haha ahh and what are your cheap set?? =)
That is one of the most mediocre looking cars I've ever seen. Makes me wonder how they got popular, then I remember the whole "rear wheel drive" part and it starts to make sense.
2010 Honda Fit LX
that car does not have the same pattern or offset as a cavalier. RWD and FWD cars have different offsets. Your car has 5 x 114.3 and cavaliers are 5x100. If the wheels have dual patterns, they'll fit the lugs, but the wheel will look dumb because they will require a different offset, especially in back
im just looking for a beater set of rims.. i dont care how they look
Where do people find these deals? Where?

screw the deals... when i was in college i could barely afford easy mac let alone a 1k beater car and then modding it.
Deals? On the car I'm guessing you mean?? Craigslist =)
And its called working your ass off since you were twelve lol.

I worked full time and went to college full time. I never had money for anything.

Nice find! Have one im doing a SR swap on right now. Be careful with the KA ,there notorious for spinning rod bearings I've found out.
cOrpsemangler wrote:that car needs some paint ASAP... otherwise its a nice looking car...
Honestly paint is the last thing I'm worried about. I have a ton of body work to do before then... New front Fenders, rear over fenders, just bought the wing form the Kouki that I will be putting on etc. Its prolly gunna be just rattle canned for quite a while.

Yeah I have heard that as well and am going to be working on that. And good luck on the SR swap.. I'd rather have my NA KA that will be faster than a turbo SR =)
I like where you're going with this car! Awesome project car!!! The mods you've done so far look great!
Keep it up!
