So a few months ago my sister got a new car to replace her 1998 Chevy Blazer ZR2. We were talking on the phone one night and she mentioned that she was selling her blazer. I've always kind of liked the blazer and told her I may be interested in it. We started talking and eventually i ended up with the blazer. We never really talked about a price and when i finally asked her about it she told me I could just have it. I didnt feel right about that and i sent her a check. She called me to thank me and then told me she wasnt going to cash it. So, i have this Blazer that i picked up for free. It has 173xxx miles and runs like a champ. 4x4 works great too. Heres some pics I took today:
I had the day off of work today and I got pretty bored.... my neighbor had the day off too. We went to the store, i bought a monster and we went for a drive. On the way home he asked if I wanted to see if we could fit a bull bar from his expedition onto the blazer. I came up with a slightly different idea. And it started:

I would be okay if the blazer appeared to be more beat to hell, but it actually looked decent other than the small amount of rust on the quaters. Ashame to see the ZR2 destroyed. Your call in the end though on it.

My and my buddy did this with his 4 door blazer...only he slammed his into a tree before we cut it up..i have pics somewhere.

ill get pics of the one around here it has a 350 in it tops cut off the same way but he made a cover for it but it also have 40" superswamper tsl's under it with like 10 inch lift

She told me she was glad that i was having fun with it. She ran into a big inheritance, thats part of the reason i got it for free.

Actually, thats exactly what i did. At the time I had a Jeep Wrangler. I got the blazer, and sold the jeep for 1300 more than i bought it for. Also, i didnt owe anything on the jeep. I paid off a loan that i still owed $3400 on.
