I've always been a fan of Subaru's for the utility that they have, whether it may be your supermarket wagon or your offroad mud slinger.
Yesterday I went to an autocross and a Forester STi showed up. I didn't even know this existed, and spent an hour contemplating whether this was factory or a build. Looks like it was factory from STi. The STi blue paint, huge brakes, powerful engine, wheels, suspension, everything, rivaled what you'd normally find on a WRX STi.
And not only did this thing look pimp (because it's a freaking wagon, and everyone loves badass wagons), but it was hauling ass around the course.

my friend has a limited sti and his brother drives the forester xsport sti or whatever they call it. both are sweet.
the turbo'd foresters are xt's over here. not sure if they ever actually made the sti package avail in the US but as with everything, the good versions are avail overseas. very possible he had the parts imported
