Team Top End Meet
Sunday, November 15, 2009 8:17 PM
We had our November team meeting today. The weather was fantastic today so we had a meeting and a little BBQ. Ended up washing everyones cars and just hanging out.

Team Top End is a group of enthusiast set out to show were not a bunch of young punks out to street race. Our primary goal is to help the community and do charity events. We are strickly non-profit and we do events mainly for children's hospitals and breast cancer awareness charity's. For the month of December we will doing a few fund raisers and adopting a less fortunate family for Christmas.

With that said here are a few photos. Enjoy....

Capri with her 500WHP Prelude. She pulls a 7.5 in the 1/8th

Capri again with Jon's K24/k20 hybrid. He runs a 7.9 all motor and a 7.3 on nitrous in the 1/8th.

This is Javier's second ride. A G35 sedan. Javier drives a CRX that is a SOHC with a SC and a Turbo making 300+whp until he popped the motor. Expect a boosted K24 in the near future.

Charles's 745whp H22 integra. He made 745 on 30psi and is going for a re-tune on 40psi with a 150shot of nitrous. Shooting for 1000whp. He ran at the track other night and shattered his twin disk stage 4 clutch with 26" slicks on.

This is also Charles's car. An 05 (???I think its an 05) M3 BMW

Sonny's R8

Jason's G35. He's also got a 500whp del sol that he spun a rod bearing in.

Some car's did not make it out and some people were missing:
Disco Dave drives a 400hp LS-Vtec integra and a 350hp LS swapped CRX
Jared wrecked his e36 M3 turbo BMW last night =/
My 562whp Integra. However, my AE86 did make it, lol.
Matt couldn't make it and he drives a GSR swapped turbo EG Hatch
Eddie with his H22 94 Civic
Jeff's 06 boosted GTO may be missing some people but all I can think of for now.

She's a sweet heart. The guy with the G35/Boosted Del Sol is her fiance. You can see her car on the front page of explicitracing.com as well.

When you build a car for high HP that started with like 100-150, it happens... So he blew the motor in his car and has had other things going on, like enjoying being able to afford a nicer, newer DD, and hasn't replaced it yet. That doesn't mean anything. Building power and racing means breaking things.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Exactly, couldn't say it better myself. All of us have second or even three cars so when we race at the track we go all out. @!#$ happens. Javier was trying to blow that beast up at Import Face Off. He ended up spinning a rod bearing.

He's into cars, against street racing, and wants to do charity work like the rest of us. He fits right in.

You may have, she lives in P-Cola. There is another prelude around though that looks just like hers. You can tell hers though because hers has a pink pearl on it. When the sun hits it just right you can see a lil pink in the paint.

Thank you, we have two goals and thats to have a fun enjoyable environment without street racing and benefit the community. Team Top End started in VA. The VA chapter had a fund raiser on Sunday and raised over 400 dollars in cash and about the same in gifts and such for a children's hospital.

Nice cars.

So what do you guys all do for work? Are these all daily drivers that you've poured every last dime into, or are they just scratch and you own multiple cars? I mean that is a LOT of money on wheels - they all look done right, lot of hp too!

I cant speak fo everyone. Im military active duty. Spend my deployment money on my cars. I own multiple cars. Charles use to be active duty but got out as an o-4 and now does the same job for the military making more money. His wife is active duty and a master seargent. He goes tdy a lot making good money. Drives the m3 as a dd. Javier with the g35/twin charged crx runs a high end junk yard. Capri drives a sick 350z as a dd. She works at a bank. Jon with the k swapped hatch is a bum and pours all his money in his car. Sonny with the r8 works in marketing. Disco dave works at one of the most popular shops in the area and drives a tundra or xb as a dd. Capri and i are the youngest of the bunch along with jon
