This thing is awsome.

The Transition®
Every pilot faces uncertain weather, rising costs, and ground transportation hassles on each end of the flight. The Transition® combines the unique convenience of being able to fold its wings with the ability to drive on any surface road in a modern personal airplane platform. "have been advancing the state-of-the-art in personal aircraft since 2006"
*rofl

Average time to develop generic mass-produced grocery-getting vehicle ~ 6yrs

Time to develop "state-of-the-art" flying car ~ 3 yrs

I hope people have a lot of faith in "MIT-trained" engineers...

How many flying car demo vehicles will be produced before people realize that it's not reasonable/logical to give the average Joe with a Blackberry and sub-100 IQ a WMD?

That thing is sick! I like that the wings open electronically. It'd be the perfect getaway vehicle!
