Another Happy satisfied boost addicted RD Fabs customer! Remote mounted turbo setup.

This is a show truck for a body repair shop, so no it doesn't see bad weather and allows for the air filter to be where it is at. C&C is always welcomed.

Yes, electric cut out right off the exhaust..

O2 after turbo is a wideband

Can't really put anything else but a 90 as seen or cobra head on the TB because of the radiator fan shroud. Smoother 90* silicone or rubber bends would be smooshed and collapsed into an oval shape to clear that shroud. We've tried multiple different ideas and even tried the stock cobra head, but the customer wanted it to be the way you see it with the polished Stainless steel 90*. This is the second truck we've done and unfortunately there is just jack sh!t for room to do anything else...

couple more pictures here.

im guessing he didnt want to trim the shroud a little ? the older models had issues with the shroud also , some of the guys switch over to the twin electric fans , and others trim the shroud

bottom line is keeping the customer happy , and giving them what they want , or giving them the options and letting them pick

so when you guys gonna move to AZ ? so we can build some really wild rides

question.. if he did drive his truck daily in the different environments etc.. what would you do for intake then? Would you not run a remote setup then or what would you do? Just curious

looks nice, i want video of this thing movin!

1) 6.2L

2) No idea on numbers of HP or TQ. Customers Butt dyno was thrilled enough for him to tell us he didn't care if he only gained 75-100hp because it "feels like a badd outta hell"

3) As for moving to AZ? Closest I could come right now is Modesto California right now. Where I currently work, they have a location there. But I know nothing of city.

4) If he was going to drive it in all weather conditions, we would let the customer decide on which route he'd wanna go. Whether keeping the turbo in the engine bay, or running an intake up to the engine bay keeping the turbo back where it is currently.
