2006 Chrysler 200 Touring edition
It drives so nice and smooth, has the 3.8L V6 in it, get's pretty good gas milage. We hit about 26-27 mpg bringing it home all highway miles (it was in IL, to Ohio) from here to there, 1 tank of gas.
2 immediate plans for it.
1) Tint windows. (30% ish, i doubt any darker, depends on how it looks)
2) Pull out stock Navi unit, install my stereo I've been wanting to put in the cavi for almost 12 months.

Then Eventually put wheels on it, and that's about it. Nothing big other than replace the stock speakers (which sound fantastic) and put a sub in.
Now the reason that i got this is the older I get the less i "love" the feel of my lowered car on the roads every single day going here and there. Having a daily driver and making my cavalier an occasional driver. This will also allow me to park my cavalier and work on it, not having to have things Out for 5 hours and worry about putting it or w/e back together for it to be driven the next day.
For the price i got this thing for, with the few minor flaws it had, it was an absolute steal. I'm very happy with my purchase. Some might not consider these a luxury model car, but it's damn close. It rides and drives better than most Cadillac and Lincoln's (older models) i've driven in my life.
Super happy with this buy!

Mad tyte stick on chrome side vents on the fenders yo. Dat be da shizzz. The best thing about that car is the stereo you're putting in it. And IMHO it's worth more than the car, I'd never own a Chrysler.

lol but on the realz...
you picked the only thing cheaper than GM crappy interiors...(i see why Chrysler is doing so bad now) that car can, however, look like a good cruiser with some wheels and what not. so if you like it...great find!
The whistles go WHOOOO WHOOOO!!!!

the stick on fender things need to go!

No offence to the OP, but that has to be the nastiest car i've ever driven/sat in. I cannont stand 300's. They give off the fake "upper class" feel, with a bullshyte interior. It's like you traded in your J-body for a lesser quality J-body >:o
Cool man. Enjoy it. I could use one to help hauls my kids around.
Uh, that's a car, this is a whip:

Unfortunately, I'm with Dave on that one. I can't stand ghetto slang like that either.
BUT about the topic at hand... Not my cup of tea. Look like they could be half decent cars if you are into them though. Nothing Chrysler has ever made really rubs me the right way. Everything seems so blah and interiors always feel cheap no matter how much you spent on the vehicle.
Remove those fender vents, get some tasteful wheels and tint and call it a day. You are on the right track as far as making that car decent for what it is!
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Actually, if you click the link you'll learn that they have been called "whips" for a long time. Started when they first introduced the steering wheel it was called a whip. It was made of leather and named after the whip used to control a horse.
I do agree with you though, lol I'm just being difficult because I"m bored.
That was exactly what I bought after the Cavalier. Well that minus the vent things you got going on there...
I dropped it on 22s with a few small things such as custom grill and m3 style spoiler.
I had it for a year and a half. Not sure what you look for in a car, but if you like anything remotely sporty then return this thing! It was a smooth riding tank Id say. Rode like stock even lowered on 22s. It was big, felt luxurious and exremely comfy. GREAT road trip car. If youre anything like me though you'll grow tired of the terrible gas mileage (I currently drive a twin turbo car with the turbos tuned up and get better gas mileage!), the bigness of the car, the sloppy handleing, the cheap interior, and the way that people assume you talk like a 16 year old hood rat.
Great looking car, just not all it was cracked up to be for me.
That said... enjoy it and form your own opinion!! good looking car!

I'm not a fan of Chryslers but I've always liked these cars. Probably because I like the old-style square cars and this fit the bill. Like others said, I'd lose the vents. Only looks cool on Buicks and Caddys. Other then that I'm gonna vote for good purchase!

No, the *steering wheel* has been called a whip for a long time, not the entire vehicle. By the non-hip hop artist definition of the word, the statement "I got another whip" would mean you purchased a new steering wheel. Personally, I do not favor most hip hop created lingo, as I am not a fan of the music. As it is confined to one particular genre, which most would agree that the greater part of this country does not enjoy, I would rather it stay confined to that genre and not enter general usage.

Didn't even know this actually made it to the boards, due to the server crash. haha
Yeah the vent things will go. And it rides much better than my cavalier does on a daily basis. I also wanted something bigger for a trip-type vehicle and this fit the affordable nature of vehicles for the interior you get, room and ride. The gas mileage is about on par with my z24 i had, it's not horrible. I enjoy the car thus far greatly driving it. Had 2 new tires put on it yesterday in the rear. installed the stereo lastnight, sounds great on the factory system.
Here's a video for you all, of some of the simple functions! ^_^

As for the title, was just being dumb as per the usual. I did buy this thing in mafia town Chicago tho. Cicero, IL. the neighborhood made me nervous.. and it has a huge trunk. wonder wot someone used that for.
Nice, dave actually replied to a thread i made. I feel special. haha
Ne who, I love it, and i can now (when financially i can afford it) work on my cavalier without having to @!#$ take it apart and put it back together the same day. I've always hated that so much.

That's a damn nice stereo!

Thanks, I bought it last March and it's been sitting in a box until now. I pulled the entire interior out for some work on the cavi, so it was ipod & headphones for me, until i got this beautiful beast (as in size) of a car. It looks really great inside it. And has fantastic functionality, i can vouch for that already! It really is a great head unit, does everything you could really want, including a back up camera.

what's with you and "BIG BLACK" every-things? I swear man, I'm starting to wonder.
Are you the one who calls me at 4:32am panting on the phone?
