Been a few since I've posted on the SS.
No real changes, trunk got keyed, so I'm officially searching for a wingless victory red trunk.
I finally got around today and got the windshield tinted, something I've been putting off but wanting done. Only went 50% for obvious reasons, but I lost the headlight glare and the green tint the windshield took on in certain lighting conditions I hated.
Sides-
Windshield (I have the red insert seats that normally stood out like a sore thumb)-
...and I had to make trip home on bad terms a couple weeks ago, luckily the roads remained clear the 4 days I was there, and 1900 miles of driving later I'm back in VA, but I took this while home-

again, wow... tinted windshield? now that is something you dont see very often, or i least i dont.
ive wanted to do mine ever since i had it done 4 years ago... however, i dont see how the hell it would work at night. i worry about deer enough, hate to think how i would feel if i smashed my front end all to @!#$ because i wanted my front w/s tinted.
anyways, it looks amazing.
the car is perfect with the pontiac rims.

Thanks, if I didn't tell you the windshield was tinted and you hopped in the car I doubt you'd notice.

Yeah, Vince, don't get over by the place who does my tinting, just happened the exhaust shop was there in the same area so I just developed a backup plan.
....badges have nothing to do with it being victory red, it's an '05 thing and they're staying. Some day when I feel like spending $12 I'm going to buy the red SS vinyl inlays.

The more I look @ them I'm not sure, lol, they've grown on me as a WTF!? type thing.
i love everything about this car.
that being said, the one thing that i would recommend, is tinting the tails (but not the white parts for the reverse lights), but that's completely opinion based.
I find red on red is better, don't want to offset and do the typical black on red theme.
Like you said, preference.
love the car... my buddy has a black 05 but yours looks so much better in red and without the wing...
good to see you finally tinted it! I remember commenting on pics of this car months ago saying the one thing it needs desperatly is a tinted windsheild! You'll never go back to non-tinted again!

32' the degree the day it got tinted, a little sunlight, and then we got a freak snowstorm and it's been down to 20' and it's held. Was worried, but lifetime warranty on their work.
I haven't driven the car but once, but yeah, I regret not doing this a long time ago.
Looks super clean...almost doesn't look like an SS,esp with that wingless lid.

Man i really like this balt. It almost makes me want to own one. That is the cleanest balt I have ever seen. The ones we have around here are kinda riced out and some of them drive like morons.
