From GM... .
Chevrolet today offered a sneak peek at its Colorado show truck that will officially be unveiled prior to the 32nd Bangkok International Motor Show, which begins on March 25. The show truck offers a preview of the next-generation Colorado midsize pickup truck, which will build on Chevrolet’s strong truck DNA and a heritage of award-winning trucks.
Thailand was chosen as the site of the global debut because of the popularity of pickup trucks and the growing importance of the Thai market to Chevrolet. In 2010, the pickup truck segment alone accounted for 43% of vehicles sold in Thailand. The new Colorado will go on sale in Thailand later this year.
“Trucks play a key role in most Southeast Asian markets,” said Susan Docherty, vice president, GMIO Sales, Marketing and Aftersales. “Nowhere is this more evident than in Thailand, where trucks like the Colorado are ingrained in the local lifestyle. Thailand was a natural place to give the public a first glimpse of our all-new Colorado.”
More information on the truck will be revealed at the global premiere. The public can get their first look at the Chevrolet Colorado show truck at the Bangkok International Motor Show from March 25 – April 5, 2011.

The preview makes it look like it has lines that are way too soft for a truck. And that damn 'signature grill'
i too hate the stupid grill. I also have always hated the golden bowtie...
So then?
this will be an Asian only exclusive or is this going to be a global truck? A lot of Asia talk there.
And judging from that shot this appears to not be a body on frame truck anymore. It almost looks like an Equinox crossover with a bed...but i need to see more.

(Rumors) were swirling that it was going uni-body, ala Ridgline. But one thing GM was focusing was to bring it back to the size of the S10, so it can rekindle the sale success. Remember that the Colorado is a Mid-size truck and really it encroaches to the Silverado, not only in size, but in price too.
I'll keep you all posted.

If it goes back to the size and price of the s10, there's a good chance I'll own one.
I miss my s10.
Looks like the equinox front end and head lights from there first gen.
I like it.

Me too. and if it's going down in size to the old S10 then i really like it. With Gas prices going north of $4 we need a good truck thats small good on gas and can still be a truck.
