Sorry, just going off what I read. Either way, it was an interesting build and yeah 35k for a boosted setup is crazy expensive.

I see a Dual S/C setup there.
Save your money. It might be worth something someday.
Yikes, awesome for sure but I sure as hell wouldn't do it. Well unless...

Twinsupercharged, or twin turbo charged i would not spend 35k for it. Someone forgot to give them lube.
sweet looking car!!

So let me get this straight..... he buys a car with a factory rated horsepower rating of 560 and spends 35k on a boost set up to get him "650+"?? Bimmer owners blow my mind sometimes. Give that 35k to an e30 owner and have something worth writing an article about.

its 35k and the power gain should be 243 hp he should be pushing like 750hp
The SKII kit bumps power to 660, not 750. That's the SKIII kit.
^^^ according to that its a gain of 150hp. still not worth it. but look sto be a sema car anyways.
He said 35k for the boost setup itself. He paid 35k for 100-150 HP. I dont care what the parts are made of, or what the novelty of having twin centri's gives him. 35k for 100-150whp is insanely laughable.

it would have to be with included labor. as in. the car goes to so an so performance and 35k gets me twin turbos. he just doesnt mention the install. if you go the site where he bought them from most of there kids are running around 4-6 grand for a single turbo kit. double turbo would put it in the 10 grand price. this is bmw. they likely see the install as part of the whole system since its someone else doing the work. you and i wouldn't spend that kind of money. but this is also a guy with around 10-12 grand just for a set of wheels.

I'm thinking the 35k is for everything done. Twincharged, paint, body etc.. Which in that case I get it.

But it wasn't. He said 50k in mods total with 35 of it for boost
