Bought it back in September, did some modding over the winter, finally got some decent shots of it this past weekend so figured it's time to share, I have a build thread if anyone is interested in the modification's I've done-

Long story short a good friend owned it originally and has sold it due to marriage and a little one, had went through another friend, and a random whom attempted to flip it before coming to me. It's a factory color, "Candy Tahitian Blue" and rather rare for a Honda. Only change I plan on now is the exhaust, never was a fan but came on the bike so I've added a silencer and removed the "Two Brothers" plates to clean such up. In time.

Nice looking bike. Still definitely want to get one for next summer.

How are those AStar boots? I have a pair of TCX's but I can't stand in them for more than 20mins without them killing my feet.

Added Renthal grips and an OE/Honda solo cowl-

Love them bikes....I had a 05 black with the tribal flames.

One thing I did that looked really good was painted the clutch and magneto covers a semigloss black. Also painted the shifter and linkage black...I thought it came out well..I did the swing arm as well but no pics...Nice cheap mod and I think it would look good with the blue.

A fan as always.

How are you supposed to transport the hoggers with a solo seat?

Nice! Yeah I did my lower cowl silver on purpose, to actually tie into the swingarm. I like the two-tone look that silver provides the blue, then I have the small gold accents.

Looked great on yours, been meaning to do my shift linkage though!

Yes, yes, agree. Wish I would have this past winter. My buddy just got an Akrapovic on his GSXR, plan on working out something similar for mine.

I missed her for about 5 minutes, then pure adrenaline and excitement wiped any thoughts of my 600 away. Sad yet amazing day.

...and I'm now the second owner of this '08 1000RR! Everyone I know locally whom have hated on the color have ate their words in person, myself included.

The new bike looks awesome. The yellow actually looks pretty sweet.

Soooooo the blue ones gone for good? Guess I'll have to find my own now haha.

Unfortunately, couldn't keep them both. Would have been glad to sell you ole' blue, this was a here & now deal though I couldn't pass up.

I'm thinking about ditching my two brothers for one myself on my Gixxer.
