Now I know the mud guards will look so terrorable .
Sorry to say I need them on the rear, until I get a new rear bumper .
My 96 Cavalier has a stock rear bumper .
The sad thing is my rims dont stick out of the rear at all , but that rear bumper makes it look like they do .
I mean almost everytime a cop is behind me they pull me over and take a look and then are like " Sorry, I guess its ok " .
Now the only molded ones I can find are on 2000 - 2002 Cavalier .
If I get them painted body colour (black) , I think it may not look to bad .
I am just woundering if anyone thinks or knows if they would fit ?
Thanks
Transform .... and Burn out .
why do you need them? just take them off
so your saying cops pull you over b/c you dont have mud flaps on your car??? damn where you live.. so i dont ever go up that way.. take them off and keep them off looks better but its your car
i think its because his wheels stick out past the fender.... correct?...that section should be the same on all 3rd gen cavi's ...i believe
No info in his registry or anything we don't know if he's got aftermarket wheels with a low offset or something.
How can your rear bumper make your wheels look like they're sticking out if they aren't??
well.. he might be talking about the wheel gap from not being lowered...
First off my wheels dont stick out of my rear or front fenders .
My rims are 17" by 7.5 (American racing Vortech) .
The problem is from behind ( as shown with another Cavalier above ) the rear bumper kinda has a inward lower lip .
When the cops see it they pull me over and do a walk around .
Now its not like I am getting tickets or anything , cause there is nothing wrong with the rims ; they only apper to stick out .
Its just getting pulled over almost once a week is really starting to pi$$ me off .
With the mud guards I am hoping it will hide my rims because I have never been pulled over for any other reason .

Why not just buy some cheapo flat ones, and put them on where they stick out far enough to conceal the tire width? Like the pic below, but higher?
I ran across a pic of a mudflap on Wild Weasel's Sunfire, but he can post that if he wishes.
