Are all 4 side windows in all sedan cavaliers exactly the same? If they are, how hard is it to take a window out? Thanks
all 3rd gen 4 doors share the same glass....... I believe cav and fires as well.

Thanks, does anyone know how hard it is to get them out?
not all too bad, the easiest way is to remove the window seal things along the edge, youknow, the part that is like felty that touches the edges of the windows. it jus pulls off, then remove the door panel, loosen the clamps that hold the window in place and pull it up and out, thats the hardest part.

Sounds easy enough. My purpose of doing this is to save money at least. I have a parts car in the yard and the windows have already been tinted and I would rather swap windows instead of paying $200 to get mine tinted.
wish i could find that...i still need to tint....
Easier to just get yours tinted!
The door windows are easy enough to remove but I'm not so sure about the small ones on the back doors and the rear windshield is going to be a PITA.
good point weasel. im not gonna remove the little ones or back window though. im just gonna have those tinted after and it shouldnt cost too much.
seriously? The back window and the small side windows are probably most of the cost of tinting. Adding the two door windows probably won't be that much more. Plus, you should think about the problems you'll likely have matching the tint color. If they're close but not quite the same, its going to look terrible. IMO, tint your existing windows and leave those in the parts car.
