Well, i guess by the subject enough said but ill say it again....I have a 95 sunfire with no sunroof...and I would like to put one in that will slide up outside the car on a slant....How much would this cost to get done by a bodyshop?
funny you ask, i just called a local place today to check on prices. they quoted me $350-450 for a non-power one, and $750-1100 for power, depending on the size, etc.

Id look into a sliding rag top over a sun roof.....
dosent look so everyday and theyre pretty cool

Well I went to a my buddies body shop and he said he would do it for me but dosen't like to do them. So i called a place that all they do is install sunroofs and it was like 675 installed power and came with a lifetime warranty.

When it comes to an aftermarket sunroof, you definitely get what you pay for.
You can get one that's every bit as good as the factory one, but don't expect it to cost less than the factory option. If you get one cheaper... then yes, you can be sure it will likely leak within a few years.
generaly if you don't pay ~$1000 for a power roof, they leak.
what a lot of people don't realize is that some of the "factory " sunroofs are aftermarket. At least on a lot of FoMoCo's
imo if it didnt come w/ one, it shouldnt have one.

why do all that when you can simply slice the top nice and quitely

Ive been wanting a sliding ragtop roof for mine also, but the concern for theft has been keeping me from getting one, especially now that i have some nice parts installed on my ride. and soon it will be kittied and a fresh paint job.
