watch out when wireing these up do not listen to the instructions on that toyota cavalier web site they are sooo wrong. well they are for a 2004 anyway. everything is correct up untill it tells you to cut the white wire in your steering colum that goes to your turn sig switch. that wire is the power wire for the cruise control not a lead to seperate the brake sig from the turn sig the only way a could do it was to run a jumper wire to my front turn sig light. the brakes you just tie into the third brake light. splice in the marker and ground leads then just tape off the original rear turn sig lead wire and your done.

b.t.w. you do know you guys can buy these brand new from any g.m. dealer right?
there like $300.00 for the complete set and yes you can buy just the outer part.

butt $200.00 is a damned good price new or used. i'm not saying they are used just saying its a great price.

almost forgot when i ordered mine from g.m. they sent 3 sets to my work and we actually have them in stock right now. new still in the box never opened up.

in what year matt? in my 04 there is only one white wire running to the turn sig switch
which also has the cruise switch in it and its hot all the time. its the main power for the cruise, believe me i spent over an hour testing wires in the colum and i couldn't find
another white one that runs to the turn sig switch, if you know something i missed then please, please, please by all means let me know where i missed it cause i dont like
to have to use a jumper wire from the fronts.

my cav is an 04 5spd and it has cruise if you have ANY info matt that would be great.

thanks.

mine doens't look like that. what year is it from? mine has only harness to the turn sig
lever its self the rest is like the bundle in the second pic that has the pink wire in it.
other then that i didnt see any other wires. i dont have to pull a cover off in ther do i?
if i missed it cause of a cover and spent 2 hours wireing in jumpers to the front in 95
degree heat while being a blood doner to about 50 f'in mosqueetees i'm goona be so pissed!

i just hooked up the M3 turn siginal mirrors in my friends 04 cav sedan , and his has the same switch like matt posted

and the white wire is there in that top grey plug on 1 end of it

and you only have to take the top cover off the bottom part that has the 3 screws doesnt need to come off

when i do my friends 03 ill have to take some clear pics , and make another how to
