I searched but only found stuff about the Phantom covers. I was wonderin if anyone has these and pics of them on a sunfire or any comments about these covers? I dont know witch ones to get. I dont have a problem with takin them off every night either. i think the darker the better.

IMO, using removable covers is tacky. They usally look like crap. ^^^ look alright, but it's not my car. It's his choice to use them. They also can get stolen then you are out that money. IMO, the best way to do it is oull the headlite apart and use spray tint on the inside of the lens. The light will come thru at nite like there is no obstruction and you don't have to remove it. Also it can't get stolen and it is cheaper.

Hope that helps in your decision.

^^^agreed, IMO they just look cheesy.

if you wanna black em out, use Niteshadez, and do what STLWACO suggested

Spray tinting your lights is a BAD idea. The light will NOT come through just the same.

He's right though in that using the covers is really a PITA. Back when I used them, I would only put them on for shows. They just weren't worth the everyday hassle.

I think they looked good though. I'd love to convert my lights to pop-ups so I'd have this look all the time.

I stopped using them entirely when I got the ram air hood and stopped using the deflector. It was just too much red.

lol spray tint is @!#$. it will run and its nearly impossibly to keep it adheared to plastic. you can scratch the surface but who the hell would do that to there headlight housing. what i did atleast on my tails was i had a professional apply a special tint to the tail lights. tis not window tint its a special tint made jsut for things like blacking out heads, tails ect ect. it costs some $$$ but well worth it in the end.

here is a pic sorry about the size and its not the greating pic but the quality of how it looks is so much better than covers or that @!#$ty spray.
