Yes, so I would like to swap my sunfire exterior panels for a cavalier look. Essentially swap exterior looks. I know it seems easy just to buy a damn cavalier, but right now there are no decent deals in my area. Can this be done? Are there any issues.
YES.
But your gonna need hood, fenders bumper headlight, taillights, just about everything. So find your self a junk yard and start sourcing them pieces.
where do you live im willing to swap stock for stock

Could you elaborate on that?
everything from the doors forward on 3rd gen j-bodies are interchangeable but the rear of a cavy and sunfire are different (the 2 doors anyway) the only way to swap those would be to get a donor car and cut off its quarter panels and weld them onto your chassis

Damn that's awful. I'm in western Canada, so I'm pretty far away and am looking locally for a swap.
if you were near me id trade

With all the parts, any front end swaps on any 3rd gen j-body are simple. The underlying unibody is the same across the board.
You need fenders, bumper, absorber (crush panel), lights, and hood.
i may trade the front end but i am in wisconsin. i have an 04 and i cut the grill out of my bumper.
