Alright I can' seem to come up with anything in the search so can anybody help me out? I have a 97' sunfire and I hate the rear pontiac brake light (the rear light that says pontiac) and I found rksport's cf cover for newer gens but I didn't see one for my year so if anybody could help me out I'd really appreciate it. And prices or pics are good too.

It's not a brake light. It's always lit while the car is running.

You can sand it smooth and paint it if you'd like. Just use a thick layer of primer to ensure the light doesn't shine through.

Or you can run a relay from the driver's side rear parking light as the trigger wire so that it only comes on when you turn on the park lights.

I had an extra relay lying around, so thats what I did.

Its mounted up to one of the trunk filler panel quick nuts so its up out of the way. I have to lengthen the trigger wire just a little, it's pulling on the carpet a bit when I close the trunk

For places that have inspection, they have to remain in (license plate illumination).
