Actually there was such a thing as a winners circle package, but of course it was an add on option you needed to purchase. All it is is the graphics. Soo I guess it would be kinda rare since I don't think alot of people would pay around $400+ for those graphics.

Are you sure this came from factory... because I know dealers do anything to sell the cars, I have seen some SS Cavy's around or Cavalier GT.

Not sure if it was factory, but when I was looking before at a 2002 and a 2003 cav the 02 book I was looking at gave the option of purchasing the winners circle package with it... I guess it would depend on if you had the car specially ordered and wanted it done at the time, or dealers probably had the option of adding it on too. All I know is it was around $400 PER SIDE... what a rip.

I offered the guy $10 for the car. Oh and he has to ship it to me.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

On another note, I could never understand why they would put the LS/SE rims on the Z24/GT verts.

Looks like complete dealer rice to me.

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the loss of rigidity in the car. They added all sorts of bracing to stiffen it up and I think that the 15's were a part of that. 16's give a harsher ride and I don't think they wanted any extra stress being put on the fragile things.

The daughter of the owner of a Chevy Dealership back home had one identical to that, which means that she either got hers from GM that way or from her daddy that way.

Then, you have to look at that car that is out in Iowa that is being sold on Ebay. What is more likely, that they purchased the car that way from GM or from the owner of a Chevy dealership in the middle of Indiana.

Why would they drive from Iowa to Indiana to buy a car????

It's a dealer installed accessory (the "Winner's Circle" graphic. Part number is 12495298. I based the checkerboard graphic on my first J on that picture, since I couldn't justify spending $400 on a vinyl sticker.

They were definitely NOT limited to "300" as claimed in this auction, nor were they installed at the factory. You can still get it today (if you want) and install it on any J-body, including a sedan As Heather already said... the "Winner's Circle" is JUST the graphics... nothing else. The rest of the car is bone stock.

That's the point...

It's considerably more likely that they both got it from GM than it is that they both got it from the middle of BFE Indiana. Since it's considerably more likely that it came from GM, it's considerably likely that is isn't 'dealer rice'.

I don't know it all... but I do have a few secrets up my sleeve that few know about... if and when I'm wrong, I'm more than happy to admit I was in error.
