My first z24 i bought a bomex kit from ebay for 200$ plus 200$ shipping------YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! It was gapped from the trunk an inch and wavy because it was too wide when you pushed it in to bolt it on it formed a wave. you need to cut 2 slits(one per side) and bolt it on. then you take a marker and mark the chunk that is not needed on the slit. You will see what i mean when you do it. And then fiberglass it all together again. As for the gap flip it over and build a lip- those ebay bodykits never fit just so you know and i bet i guessed right on where you got the kit lol.... right?>

By the way when i did build an inch onto the kit for the gap it looked like a park bench/dinner table/baby changing station..... bolt it up to see what it looks like. Then decide if you wanna chop the wheelwells and make new ones or build a lip.. and if ne1 knows what a bomex kit looks like it already looks like a parkbench- imagine adding an inch. It was rediculous looking i shoulda chopped the wheelwells but oh well i hit a 30 lb racoon a month later so i junked it- but it was good XP

I bought the AIT kit and it fits like a glove, the only alterationwe did were to the skirts. the front bumper was a near perfect fit, it even had the J-clip slots in the right places. Iwasn't to pleased with the rear bumper though, it fit great don't get me wrong but it wasn't the one I ordered they were out of stock and i didn't want to wait another month, for a new one, it just looks like a bowling alley. over all i would buy from AIT agian if I had to. Urethane is the tops I hear but you will pay a hefty price for them, and the prep for painting is more indepth.

Did you remove the rear crush guard? If so, reinstall it and cut it to fit or use L brackets in its place

Andy's Auto Sport is notorious for poor fitment.

As for that wavy section, its from two things:
1. bumper is slightly too wide, so when the sides are pulled in to bolt to the quarters, the middle wants to buckle
2. the fiberglass is probably way to thin across the center, so when it buckles, it does so in that wavy pattern you see.

I would say the best fix is to cut that entire center section out, mount the bumper back on the car, and reglass a new section while on the car so it takes the proper shape. put something rigid underneath for a solid base to fiberglass on...heavy cardboard, or even run foam along the bottom then sand it down to the proper shape. Layer the fiberglass extra thick, then sand down to where its needed.

yup same thing as what i xplained happened to me: where it gets wavy cut a line, basically instead of one solid base across the top make 3 and the pressure will release. Then cut whatever overlaps off and re-glass it together, top first then take it off and do the inside bottom. Do it while its on the car so you get it the first try. Id also suggest making a whole layer across the whole top because these kits are really thin and cant take much of a beating....as for the front dont let it just sit on there. Take some aluminum tubing and make 4-5 brackets to the sub-frame bolts. Measure the pipe, cut it, then hammer the ends down and drill-em out Trust me better safe than sorry
