Im looking at the carbonfiber adj. wings and i like the gtc-200 universal wing the one at the top of the page. what do you guys think of this wing on a cavalier? is on aprperformance.com under adj. wings
my opinion... no f-ing way... wings look like poop on cars unless its a fast enough car to really need it. J-cars are not even close to fast enough

these wings are nice! and they better be for the price. i have the carbonfiber adj. wing from rksport the one they discontinued the 595$ one. and it looks amazing on my car and im in love with carbon fiber so this is the closest i can find to my rksport one. I might not have to get a different spoiler though. Im talking to rksport into making me a new one, maybe im keeping my fingers crossed. i really just need the wing itself the end plates and mounting posts are fine.

I hear you man... go with it. If you dig it, then put it on there. I would have to see pics of your car to tell you how i think it would look on there, but i am guessing at worse not bad.
A lot of people have spoilers. The cars come stock with spoilers. Are those rice? Nah. It is just a change in style.
It is a shame that some people can't post their cars on here because of being afraid of being bashed for something they like.

RKsports have some decent stuff. And a lot of unique stuff. But with how much you pay, you could buy the materials to practice making your own, then make your own and you would have extra money as compared to the price to buy it from there. =P
^^ EXACTLY- RK sport does make some nice stuff....but it far beyond over priced...
as for the wing....find a knock off on ebay (aluminum wings are all the same, not much difference in quality..hell quality shouldn't even matter on a wing for our cars since they are for nothing more than looks) buy a sheet of carbon fiber and some epoxy resin from US Composits (should be right around $75 w/ shipping) and wrap it yourself.
As for the original question....I thing those sort of wings look absolutely horrible on J-bodys (and most any car), but as someone else said, it's your car...if you like that style then go for it, don't worry so much about whether or not other people like your car or think it's cool...it's your money your spending, do what makes you happy.
