The swap went relatively smooth except for a couple things. When I closed the hood and latched it, the hood sat uneven and i could not pop the hood with the hood latch release from inside the car. I took the hood latch off the car and then the hood sat perfect, is hoodpins required Or is my hood hook from my sunfire different than a hood hook from a cavalier hood?

Or do i need the hood latch and hood hook off of a cavalier?

get the latch and hook off the cavy.
