I looked up the parts needed through a local wholesale body parts dealer i was going to see what you guys thought.
Hood - $82
Headlights - $47 ea.
Fenders - $29 ea
Rear bumper - $186
Front bumper - $38
check around, im almost sure you do not need the fenders as 1995-2005 are the same
The only different in 3rd gen cavy fenders is that the 95-99s have a bracket to hold the corner light. Remove that and your stock fenders will work perfectly.
Ok thanks, other than that do the prices look good?
something with the hood latch is diffrent on the 03-05 models. This was a problem when the 2003 models started in July 2002. I used to work at Lordstown during that change over. when the 03 models got to final assembly the hoods would not close correctly. They had to go back after a few hundred were already produced and change something. it shut the entire line down that night and everyone was sent home.
^^ Yup. Hood latch is different also,
M62, 42's, ZZP 3", ZZP S3 H/E
214whp 190wtq
Hood latch and catch are different, front and rear crushguards will need to be changed also.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

I believe the bumper brackets that attach the the wheel well and trunk are different to? I might be wrong but I remember reading that they were. Also isn't the bracket behind the panel that comes up under the tail light different?

just finished the same swap yesterday, hood latch and striker are different but can be modified and relocated, took me about 20mins
other than the corner light bracket on the 95-99 fenders, there is also one other tab that is off by about 2.5 to 3 inches but still works
so to be safe i would get a fender that is off a 00-05
otherwise prices are all around the same that i paid give or take.
the bumper that i ordered was an aftermarket so the fitment is a little off i will be fixing it when i can get around to it

Sorry i'm unsure as to weither i'm thinking correctly or not, i can't give you years etc, as i havent hard core looked into it, but at the back of the wheel well theres two screws going into the bracket, i've seen some where the braket is 2 peices(belive this is 2dr fire), and some have been one peice. Can't promise you anything on that but all i know is when i put the cavy rear on my car i left my 03 L's at waydes and tried to use a set off a 95-99 Z bumper i had hear at home, and the spacing between the bottom screw and the frame is smaller than the 03-05..something to look into
Hmmmm interesting its possible you know GM

ive been noticing this lately that the rear bumper is always significantly more than the front,
my front bumper fits like crap, the bracket for the upper part of the bumper, do they attached to the front crush guard or are they apart of it

I called a place out here in Chicago, and these were the prices I found:
Headlights 35ea,
Front Bumper W/O Foglight 42,
Hood: 65.
So your not too far off on the prices.
Is the bumper you found with or without foglight holes??? Bc this place didnt even carry those styles.
if you need the crush guard from the 03s PM me.. i have the front and rear ones sitting in my backyard
