I have a 03 Cavalier with a 95-02 trunk.
I want to have clear tail lenses
Anyone have any suggestions if anyone offers these (besides the disco'd APC outters)?
Or has anyone made them?
My idea is to have clear tails, (all 4 pieces), and have a dual Amber/Red LED in the outter lenses and either just white backups, or Red runners/White reverse in the backup.
Suggestions?

Lol where do you think I got the idea from?

I like the civic style tails Bauman did. Just red metalcast on the top part of the outers
Oooo that's cool!
How do they look when they're on / flashing?

There's no separator in the lense, so it goes through both the clear and red. I don't know if Ryan has one in his though.
It wouldn't be too hard at all to bake them and toss a piece of thin sheetmetal as a divider.
bake them?

to soften the glue so you can pull them apart.
It works with the headlights also. I'm not sure of the temp exactly, but I think its a low temp for like 10-15 mins...Not positive on that though.
when i did my clearcorner headlights i baked them at like 200 for about ten mins......just sayin.
there really is no set temperature or time, it's just kind of a guessing game. like i said i took mine out after ten mins and it was still pretty hard to get them apart but, leave them in there too long and you can warp the headlight/taillight
i'll get a pic of the civic tails later on, i have ruens old lights now, also theres no divder so if you put the factory bulb in there it'll shine half red/half white, i had to put red LED bulbs in to please the local 5-0 since white blinkers is an issue here, but the led's are twice as bright as factory so it was worth it

He had red bulbs in them, no separation between the clear and red section.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.
"Run! He's fuzzy!" "Get outta here!"
