Let me get this straight, if I give them my bible they give me some porn? One is a book that will sit on a shelf and keep collecting dust and the other is a movie that I'd end up watching until my DVD player broke... I'm sure a christian or two will get mad over this but I think it's a good idea. They have their agenda but at least you can tell who's really religious and who isn't. Now to go find my bible....

I was referring to that particular group of individuals. I would say the same thing if a bunch of Christians went and picketed an Atheist convention. I'm Christian, and I'm proud to say it, but I'm not going to go and shove it in someone's face or try to force them to believe what I believe. Just as these students shouldn't be forcing their views on the rest of the world, and targeting Christians in particular.
Some are more proud (or need more reassurance of it) than others.
And they're not "forcing" their beliefs on anyone... it's up to the people that do it to pay attention.
It's just like TV.. if you don't like what's on, change the channel or turn it off and do something more productive... like... Masturbation.

I think I undestand where James is coming from so don't take him out of context.
Essentially these athiests are no better than the religious right. However it makes people like myself who are christian, but not extremist rather upset, because their targeting christians as a whole.
They're directly attacking my religion, calling it SMUT, and exchanging it for porn (i have no problems with porn, it just doesn't appeal to me). But to take something I believe in, and lower it to the level of looking at a naked woman you'll never have, but can sustain your long nights of lonely masturbation with, is kind of insulting. I won't say the Bible is 100% word for word supposed to be taken literally because it isn't, it teaches an ideal, a way of life, weather I choose to follow it is my own choice. But that doesn't mean you have to insult me because it's my choice.
I have nothing wrong with atheiests, I have atheist friends.
These athiests "preach" free thought but don't understand it themselves. As was said earlier, they specifically targeted Christians, but not Jewsih, Muslim, Budhist, Wikka, etc...
They just put themselves in the same position of those their trying to insult, pulling the same crap. However in the end, the christians get to keep their porn in exchange for the bibles, so who do you think is getting the better deal?
