Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.

Well i looked back 10 pages and didnt find the thread.
I'll throw one vote down for Echo-tek.
I say it EEEEEkotec
but usually just eeeeeeeko for short
i believe the verdict was echo tek, per GM
yes, GM says echo
I say eeeko, but whateva.
I say eeeko as well, but I have heard both used often.
Ive heard it pronounced echo tech on a saturn commercial
I say eeko just b/c it's habit, but as everyone else has said, GM claims it is echo.
2010 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited
1999 Cavalier Z24 Supercharged
1999 Grand AM SE (Beater Car)
1997 GMC Sierra
2007 Honda CBR 600RR
2005 Honda TRX450R
Everyone here in Vancouver (including GM dealers) says Eeeeeco - teck.
Only ever heard one person call it Echo - teck.. and that was in Seattle. Some old guy driving a really beat up Ramcharger...
silly thing to debate about, if you ask me.
some say to-MAH-to, some say to-MAY-to
If you got it, a BIG truck brought it!
i always thought it was EEE-CO-TEC because 'eco' means environment, thought it had something to do with that and being 'green'....
failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
I dont see how there is any debate. GM says it is echo-tech. Since they made the word up and it is one of their products, I would say they are right and it is echo-tech.

As a company, if you have an ambiguous spelling for a product that you never name in advertising, then it's your own damn fault when people say it wrong.
/ I've been saying "E"-co-tek. Because it makes sense from a marketing standpoint.
// Eco is envronmental. Echo is what the inside of your wallet does after paying to maintain a GM.
/// At least it's better than discussing "Hyundai".
