Some of you may know I have been working on this for some time.

I finally got the manifold all welded up Saturday. There is some filler over the welds just to give it a cleaner look after its painted.

need new couplers also need a gsxr 1000 tps yet. After that I'll have some videos.

Just thought id share.

on to the pics.

Still a lot to be done Ill keep posted.

That transition to the head flange looks pretty rough...

I can't truly tell but does it just go straight to the flat flange, or did you build up a smooth transition in there?

It is in spots but you have to remember the flange is angled and the pipe used for the runners is not very thick.
So if i port it out to much i have a chance of porting threw the runners.

Yes There still is some port work to be done. I ll have to post a side shot of the flange so you can see what Iam talking about.

What are you plans for tuning? Interesting setup but I'm hope you're not expecting it to run correctly on the factory computer, even with hpt.

its not a stock tune it usually has a built high comp blocking in it. At the moment its having problems.
Right now there a stock block in it with a ported head and HO cams.

car runs rich as hell right now so there wont be a problem with fuel.
Also why do you seem to think i cant tune it with hpt its really not that big of a deal.

ACTUALLY......

With the Alpha-n that the older computers run it will be fairly easy to tune with HPT. Being that there is not a map reading you really have to worry about for fuel its all TPS based in the higher rpms. Yes it uses map calcs in the idle range but it really shouldn't be all that bad. I have some ideas on how to tune this.
